Green Valley is a master planned community located in Henderson, NV that was developed in 1978 by American Nevada Corporation. It covers 8,400 acres and has a population of over 60,000 people. Henderson occupies the southeast corner of the Las Vegas valley. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2003, Henderson is now the second largest city in Nevada and one of the fastest growing places in the US. Green Valley is known as one of the first suburban communities developed away from the Strip. It is now a mix of ranch homes built in the 1970's along with new home developments.

Green Valley includes many luxury home communities including The Fountains, Quail Ridge, Legacy Golf Course, Athem & Seven Hill and The District adjacent to Green Valley Ranch. Henderson and Green Valley have the Galleria Mall, the Henderson Campus of CCSN, casinos and it is closest to Hoover Dam and the south end of Lake Mead. Anthem Hills Park Henderson's newest park features the largest skate park in southern Nevada as well as a regulation roller hockey rink, three soccer/multi-use fields, a youth baseball field, two softball fields, two covered playgrounds, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, walking trails, spectator bleachers, a concession stand, restrooms and covered picnic areas. Park hours of operation are from 6:00 a.m. to midnight and the park is fully lighted for nighttime activity on all of its amenities. Anthem Hills Park is located at 2256 Reunion Drive. From I-215, take the Eastern exit and proceed south on Eastern approximately 3 miles past St. Rose Parkway into the Anthem community. Make a left onto Reunion Dr. and the park is located on the left.

Henderson Pavillion at Liberty Pointe, the largest outdoor amphitheater in Nevada and the first of its kind in Southern Nevada. The Henderson Pavilion is a state-of-the-art venue for the visual and performing arts with a stage that can accommodate performances from soloists to full-scale Broadway productions.

The Silver Springs Recreation Center serving the entire Green Valley area of Henderson, has something for everyone. Whether it be tots to seniors, or teens to adults, find it at this center which like any of the City's full-service recreation centers is open seven days a week. The Henderson Multigenerational Center/Aquatic Complex is a unique facility with a visual interior mall effect. The gross area is 84,120 sq. ft., of which 77,157 sq. ft. is used as program space. The aquatic complex is divided into two areas: indoor and outdoor. The Henderson Multigenerational Center/Aquatic Complex is operated by the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department.
